Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.
